Project Manager

DAS Geospatial (DAS) is in its’ 46th year as the most widely utilized Aerial Mapping provider in the State of Texas.  Engineers, Surveyors and Developers rely on DAS’ ability to provide precise imagery and geographic map information to help design new highways, sub-divisions, lakes, pipelines and much more.

As DAS continues to expand its’ current market, we are seeking experienced and motivated Project Managers to join our collaborative and competitive team.  This role will support the sales cycle and follow projects from the request for proposal to final delivery and project follow-up.  You must excel in communicating with clients, project leads, DAS team members and sub providers.

Success as a DAS project manager will be demonstrated by a proven record of exceeding customer’s expectations while ensuring the project is delivered within the due dates and budgets.  The Project Manager must manage competing priorities, monitor the consistency of project activities, and efficiently utilize all the available resources.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage multiple projects from start to finish, while ensuring compliance with contract specifications and company quality standards
  • Ensures successful completion of all project task and deliverables with technical team’s support
  • Leads overall communication with clients, other stakeholders and sub providers
  • Establish detail delivery plan and staffing requirements to meet or exceed the project schedule and budget
  • Coordinate internal and external aerial data acquisition and ground survey data efforts
  • Act as internal liaison for Management and Sales
  • Conduct internal project kick-off meetings
  • Participate in, or conduct external kick-off meetings
  • Prepare and deliver project Progress Report

Update projects within DAS’ Project Management platform

Update deals within DAS’ CRM platform

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Aerial Mapping as it relates to the needs of the planning and design community
  • Prepare accurate project estimate and proposals and quotes
  • Present yourself as an ambassador of DAS Geospatial who is friendly, professional, and conversational
  • Conduct yourself with the highest degree of integrity

  • Familiar with CRM Software
  • Experience with geospatial software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a surveying, aerial mapping or geospatial in a professional or management capacity preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in project management preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience preferred
